This week, February 4 - 10

This week begins with the Investing in Africa Mining Indaba from 4-7 February at the CTICC, gain insight into mining in Africa and an opportunity to build or maintain valuable business relationships.

The Varsity Cup season kicks off today, and We, CT&WC are proud to have two teams competing once again this year, Stellenbosch University Maties and UCT Ikeys. Maties will be starting off the tounament at Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch against UJ at 16:45. Ikeys will be taking on NMMU at the UCT Rugby Fields at 19:00. Do go along and support the future of our rugby, as a proud Ikey you know where I'll be ;)

Wesgro's very own EDP2 will be hosting workshops on Tuesday 5 - 6 Feb at the Wesgro offices. See the link for more information or the Wesgro website.

World renowned rock band the Red Hot Chilli Peppers will be performing at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday, Feb 5, there are still a limited number of tickets available, see Big Concerts for details and for the transport plan, please make use of the extensive range of public transport available for this event.

The beautiful West Coast town of Darling will be playing host to the Darling Music Experience. A classic music festival that will be held at many venues all around Darling from the 8th of February to the 17th.

Valiant Swart will be performing at Durbanville Hills Wine Estate on Friday, Feb 8.

!Khwa Ttu will be playing host to a concert featuring Pops Mohamed and Olufemi on Saturday, Feb 9 from 3pm. 

!Khwa ttu will be presenting Your Noble of Sow's Tail, Mozarts private life told through stories and anecdotes with a classical lunch and cello recital as part of the Darling Music Experience on Sunday, Feb 10.
