After a weekend filled with fun and festivities, the week to come is back to the grind with the 1st of the two biggest, world renown cycling events in South Africa, winding the week down.
From the 5th to the 9th of March, members of the investment promotion team will be at the CeBIT in Germany, which is one of the digital industry's biggest global events.
Cirque du Soleil will be kicking off the SA Tour, presenting Dralion at the Grand Arena at Grandwest from 5-17 March, tickets available through Computicket.
The Vineyard Hotel and Spa will be hosting the The Green Collar Workers Forum on 6 March, with the focus on social entrepreneurs creating green jobs.
A team from the international trade unit will be heading up to California for the Natural Products Expo from 7-10 March.
The CTICC will be hosting SEXPO, the health, sexuality and lifestyle expo from 7-9 March.
7 March will see the V&A Waterfront kick off their Outdoor Active campaign, running up until 15 March. In partnership with The Sport Science Institute, there will be a series of exciting free fitness classes, demonstrations, workshops and health screenings at some of the most beautiful outdoor settings situated in and around the Waterfront.
The town of Porterville will holding a Christian Community Festival which will include performances by top SA artists such as Elvis Blue and Heinz Winckler. The festival will run from 8-10 March.
The Superstars Minstrels from Wellington will be performing a picnic concert at the Taalmonument in Paarl on 10 March.
Laborie Wine Farm in Paarl will be hosting the Ommiberg 'Round the Rock' Festival on Saturday, 9 March.
The Simonsberg Wine Route Market Day will be held on Sunday, March10 at Delvera Agri Village in Stellenbosch. More than 20 estates will share their latest wines along with country food, craft stalls as well as live entertainment.
The Cape Argus Pick n Pay Lifecyle Week is this week with a host of events including the Cape Argus Lifecyle Expo at the Good Hope Centre from 7-9 March, that promotes cycling, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
On the 9th of March the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Tricycle & Junior Tour will be taking place at Youngsfield Military Base in Wynberg. The event allows young riders up to the age of 12 to enjoy a day of cycling in a fun environment.
The main event, the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour will be taking place on Sunday, 10 March. Cyclist will start at the Cape Town Civic Centre and take a scenic ride around the Peninsula including the treacherous Chapman's Peak, and eventually end in the the Cape Town Stadium.
